The virus halts the Philippines growth
The Philippine economy contracted by 0.2% in the first quarter of 2020 due to the stop of commercial activities and the collapse of household consumption, which paralyzed the economic system. This is the first contraction in the country's real GDP since the fourth quarter of 1998, exactly 21 years ago.
